1. Purpose and Scope
This Code of Conduct defines the fundamental principles and rules for all employees, management, and business partners of TRITEC Electronic GmbH (“TRITEC”). It establishes binding standards for lawful and ethical behavior in our business activities, both internally and externally. Compliance with this Code is essential for maintaining the trust of our customers, partners, and stakeholders.
2. Compliance with legal provisions and binding obligations
TRITEC undertakes to comply with all applicable laws, statutory regulations, and official requirements in all countries where we operate. Each employee must inform themselves of applicable regulations within their area of responsibility and ensure strict compliance.
3. Fair Working Conditions and Human Rights
TRITEC respects and supports internationally recognized human rights and labor standards.
- Forced labor, child labor, and discrimination of any kind are prohibited.
- We are committed to a respectful, safe, and fair working environment free from harassment or intimidation.
- Equal opportunities are provided regardless of gender, origin, religion, age, disability, or sexual orientation.
- Our company is committed to following all relevant working-hour regulations.
- TRITEC is committed to ensuring fair compensation for labour, in accordance with all applicable wage and compensation legislation. In the event of cross-border personnel deployment, it is imperative to adhere to all applicable legal requirements, especially with regard to minimum wages.
4. Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Protection
TRITEC maintains a safe and healthy working environment and is committed to environmental protection.
- Employees must comply with all occupational safety regulations and instructions.
- We use resources efficiently, avoid environmental pollution, and promote sustainability in our operations.
5. Integrity, Fair Business Practices and Intellectual Property Rights
We do not tolerate any form of corruption, bribery, or unfair competition.
- Employees and representatives must not offer, promise, grant, or accept any undue advantage to/from business partners, authorities, or third parties.
- All business decisions are made exclusively in the interest of the company, based on objective criteria.
- We respect the intellectual property rights of others.
6. Conflicts of Interest
All employees must avoid situations in which their personal or financial interests conflict or may conflict with those of TRITEC.
- Any actual or potential conflicts of interest must be reported to the relevant supervisor or management immediately.
7. Anti-Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing and Foreign Trade Regulations
TRITEC undertakes to comply
- Not directly or indirectly facilitate money laundering or terrorism financing.
- With the applicable export, import, customs, and foreign trade regulations.
8. Gifts, Hospitality, and Invitations
TRITEC employees may neither accept nor offer gifts, hospitality, or invitations that could improperly influence business decisions or create an appearance of improper influence.
- Modest, business-appropriate gifts or hospitality may be permissible within clearly defined limits and with approval.
- All such transactions must be transparently documented.
9. Dealing with Business Partners and Third Parties
We expect our business partners, suppliers, and subcontractors to share our values and principles as laid out in this Code.
- The selection of partners is based on objective, comprehensible criteria, and not on personal relationships or interests.
- TRITEC reserves the right to terminate business relationships if partners do not comply with the standards of this Code.
- We are committed to responsible sourcing and strive to ensure that our products are free from any use of raw materials originating from conflict-affected and high-risk areas. We are dedicated to preventing any contribution to human rights abuses, corruption, the financing of armed groups or similar negative effects.
10. Confidentiality, Data Protection, and Information Security
- All business and trade secrets as well as personal data must be treated confidentially and protected against unauthorized access.
- Information is only used for its intended business purpose and is not disclosed without proper authorization.
- Employees must comply with applicable data protection laws and internal guidelines.
11. Communication and External Representation
- Only authorized employees may make public statements or provide information on behalf of TRITEC.
- All information provided must be truthful, accurate, and not misleading.
12. Responsibility and Sanctions
- Compliance with this Code is mandatory for all employees and managers.
- Violations may result in disciplinary measures, including termination of employment and potential legal consequences.
- Business partners who violate this Code may face termination of business relationships.
13. Implementation and Continuous Improvement
- TRITEC regularly reviews and updates this Code of Conduct.
- Training and communication on the Code is provided to all employees.
- Management sets an example and ensures that compliance is embedded in day-to-day operations.
This Code of Conduct comes into force as of 2025-05-19 and replaces any previous versions.
